With manufacturing sites in Europe and North America, and supported by SCHOTT's global sales network, we are a leading supplier of high-quality fiber optic and LED components.</p> <p>Your Contribution</p> <ul> <li>Under close supervision, sets up and operates various types of belt draw towers; simultaneously operates multiple draw towers. </li><li>Performs visual and mechanical inspections to ensure that the product being produced conforms to process specifications; refers questionable product to more experienced operators. </li><li>Performs routine machine/equipment maintenance and inspection. </li><li>Maintains housekeeping practices per departmental 5S program. </li><li>Able to meet utilization targets and standard times. </li><li>Accurately enters Database/SAP transactions in the computer. </li><li>Maintains daily records, including labor sheets and routers. </li><li>Responsible for observing and following all Environmental, Health and Safety rules and procedures. </li></ul> <p>Your Profile</p> <ul> <li>Must be able to read, write, and speak English. </li><li>Effective verbal and written communication skills. </li><li>Self-motivated and results oriented. </li><li>Ability to work in a team oriented environment. </li><li>Good manual dexterity and hand/eye coordination. </li><li>Due to the nature of work performed at this facility, US Person status may be required. </li></ul> <p>Hourly Pay Ranges: Level C ($20.00-$22.50); Level B ($23.00-$25.50); Level A ($26.00-$28.50)</p> <p>Actual starting pay is determined by a number of factors including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.</p> <p>Your Benefits</p> <p>At SCHOTT, you can expect a unique corporate culture where we emphasize equity, diversity, and inclusion.
