We are looking for a dedicated Director Transformation Operations like you to be a part of our team.</p> <p>Job Summary and Qualifications</p> <p>The Director of Transformation Operations is a strategic and dynamic partner to the AVP of Transformation Operations, playing a pivotal role in enabling the successful execution of Digital Transformation & Innovation (DT&I) operating model. This role works cross-functionally with senior DT&I leaders to ensure alignment with enterprise priorities and operational excellence. The Director will focus on building scalable processes, driving workstream prioritization, and optimizing resources to support seamless and accelerated execution across the transformation efforts.</p> <p>DT&I's mission is to bring innovative technology solutions to the clinical and administrative frontline of HCA, re-shaping healthcare processes to improve patient outcomes, empower clinicians with insights, and drive greater efficiency for all. In this role you will be responsible for innovating our care team processes, making them more intelligent, impactful, and efficient. In so doing, you will help our clinicians provide the best care possible and have a better experience in their work.</p> <p>What you will do in this role:</p> <ul> <li>Assist the AVP of Transformation Operations to design, implement, and continuously improve operating models, governance frameworks, and core processes to streamline DT&I operation execution </li><li>Serve as a thought partner to senior DT&I leadership, helping connect strategic vision to operational execution through strong critical thinking and cross-functional awareness </li><li>Support DT&I operations, including idea intake, workstream prioritization, and resource alignment. Ensure a clear line of sight across initiatives to support informed decision-making </li><li>Identify themes and opportunities across the portfolio and propose strategic pivots or optimizations based on enterprise needs </li><li>Operate effectively in high levels of ambiguity, bringing structure, clarity, and momentum to complex or undefined challenges </li><li>Act as a self-starter who can identify gaps, design solutions, and implement new processes </li><li>Coordinate with shared services to support domain and pod stand-up efforts, ensuring timely resourcing, clear accountability, and aligned execution </li><li>Build and iterate on tools, templates, and processes that streamline operations and improve consistency across transformation initiatives </li><li>Prepare and refine materials for executive updates, QBRs, and strategic leadership forums </li><li>Translate complex initiatives into clear, outcome-driven messaging for diverse audiences </li><li>Foster a culture of innovation, agility, and ownership within the Transformation Operations team and broader DT&I community </li></ul> <p>What qualifications you will need:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelors degree Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Operations, Strategy, or related field - Required </li><li>Masters degree in relevant field - Preferred </li><li>7+ years of experience in experience in operations, strategy, transformation, or program management in a complex, matrixed organization - Required </li><li>Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional initiatives from strategy through execution - Required </li><li>Strong critical thinking and analytical skills with the ability to navigate ambiguity and drive clarity - Required </li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including executive presentation development - Required </li><li>Ability to build, develop and sustain relationships - Required </li><li>Strong business acumen with the ability to connect execution to enterprise-level strategy - Required </li></ul> <p>Work Location/Schedule:</p> <ul> <li>Nashville, TN area (near Centennial Park) </li><li>Onsite: M-F, 8am - 5pm </li></ul> <p>Travel Required:</p> <ul> <li>This job may require up to 25% travel </li></ul> <p>Visa Sponsorship:</p> <ul> <li>Not offered, now or in the future </li></ul> <p>"Good people beget good people."- Dr. Thomas Frist, Sr.</p> <p>HCA Healthcare Co-Founder</p> <p>We are a family 270,000 dedicated professionals!
