<p>Title: Graduate Assistant (Tier 3)</p> <p>Salary Range: $20.00 - $20.00</p> <p>Division: Institutional Advancement</p> <p>Department: Institutional Advancement</p> <p>Department Description: Institutional Advancement</p> <p>Union Status: Non-Union</p> <p>Job Posting Summary: The Graduate Assistant will support a cross-disciplinary faculty project titled funded by the AI Teaching Excellence Faculty Fellowship. The project focuses on integrating ethical and critical thinking about AI into course content and developing a scalable AI Teaching Toolkit for faculty use across disciplines.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Conduct literature reviews on ethical AI practices, educational technology, and AI integration in higher education. </li><li>Compile and summarize case studies demonstrating ethical and responsible AI use in business, health sciences, and related disciplines. </li><li>Assist in formatting and organizing content for the AI Teaching Toolkit (including templates, sample assignments, and guidelines). </li><li>Support data collection and organization of pilot feedback from students and faculty participants. </li><li>Collaborate with the faculty leads and the Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL) to prepare materials for workshops and dissemination. </li><li>Maintain organized project documentation and assist with progress reporting. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Enrollment in a graduate program at Mercy University (preferred: Business, Health Sciences, Data Analytics, Education, or related fields). </li><li>Strong research and writing skills, with the ability to synthesize academic and professional literature. </li><li>Strong interest in artificial intelligence, educational innovation, or digital ethics. </li><li>Excellent organizational and communication skills. </li><li>Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and handle multiple project tasks. </li><li>Experience with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and/or Blackboard preferred </li></ul>
