<p>Position Type:</p> <p>Food Service/Cook Manager</p> <p>Date Posted:</p> <p>4/29/2025</p> <p>Location:</p> <p>Taft Intermediate School</p> <p>Date Available:</p> <p>08/19/2025</p> <p>Closing Date:</p> <p>05/07/2025</p> <p>  Additional Information: Show/Hide</p> <p>POSITION: Cook Manager, Taft Intermediate School</p> <p>7.5 hours daily (6:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.)</p> <p>Beginning August 19, 2025</p> <p>QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <ul> <li>High school graduate. </li><li>Must be familiar with ODE Child Nutrition Lunch Guidelines. </li><li>Must have or obtain ServSafe Manager accreditation </li><li>Must have experience in school/restaurant cooking </li><li>Energetic and productive, with good student and staff rapport, and customer-oriented attitude </li><li>Must be able to maintain accurate accounts of inventory, attendance, and ordering </li><li>Able to maintain inventory and rotate products </li><li>Cashiering experience or ability to develop this skill, displaying honesty and integrity </li><li>Knowledge of proper operation of commercial equipment and safety procedures. </li><li>Able to lift up to 40 pounds and maintain fast-paced production </li><li>Familiar with universal safety procedures for blood-borne pathogens and hazard communications. </li><li>History of working around school-aged children preferred. </li></ul> <p>GENERAL DUTIES:</p> <ul> <li>Respond to directives from Cook Manager and Supervisor in a professional and cooperative manner at all times. </li><li>Prepare food. </li><li>Assist with the coordination for serving of food and adhere to planned menus. </li><li>Instruct food service employees in proper sanitation techniques, safety practices and equipment usage. </li><li>Do bookkeeping for state and federal reports. </li><li>Cashier and keep accurate accounts of lunch program procedures. </li><li>Maintain kitchen operation </li><li>Other duties as assigned by Supervisor/Administrator. </li></ul> <p>COMPENSATION RANGE: Per negotiated agreement</p> <p>APPLICATION DEADLINE: 3:00 pm ON Wednesday, May 7, 2025</p> <p>TO APPLY:</p> <p>Internal Applicants: An internal applicant may instead choose to apply online through AppliTrack or you may complete the "Job Application for Internal Applicants" form.
