<p>Overview</p> <p>At The Vitamin Shoppe, our Health Enthusiasts are at the heart of everything we do. As a Compensation Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting both the design and execution of compensation programs, while ensuring data integrity, compliance, and operational excellence across Retail, Corporate, and Distribution Center populations.</p> <p>This role is ideal for someone who combines strong analytical capability with business acumen, and who can balance strategic insight with strong execution and process discipline.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <p>Compensation Program Administration</p> <ul> <li>Administer the annual merit planning process, including data preparation, reporting, payout validation, and support for program design and continuous improvement </li><li>Administer the monthly store bonus process, ensuring accurate and timely payouts </li><li>Maintain wage plans and structures across Retail, Corporate, and Distribution Center populations by region and job grade </li><li>Support implementation and ongoing enhancement of compensation programs aligned to total rewards strategy </li></ul> <p>Market Data, Analysis & Reporting</p> <ul> <li>Conduct market pricing, competitive pay analysis, and financial modeling to support compensation decisions </li><li>Conduct compensation studies and benchmarking analyses to identify trends and competitive risks </li><li>Complete annual salary survey submissions and ensure accurate job matching </li><li>Prepare standard and ad hoc reporting and analytics to support HR and business decision making </li><li>Proactively monitor compensation trends and identify risks and opportunities </li></ul> <p>Job Evaluation & Compliance</p> <ul> <li>Administer and support job description and job evaluation processes </li><li>Maintain job documentation and ensure alignment with compensation frameworks </li><li>Partner with HR and Legal to support FLSA compliance, audits, and policy reviews </li><li>Ensure compensation programs and pay practices remain compliant with regulatory requirements </li></ul> <p>Process, Systems & Continuous Improvement</p> <ul> <li>Maintain compensation data integrity within HRIS systems (ADP EV5 or equivalent) </li><li>Support data audits, validation efforts, and compensation cycle execution </li><li>Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation across compensation programs </li><li>Maintain documentation of compensation policies, procedures, and workflows </li><li>Partner cross functionally with HR, Talent Acquisition, Legal, Finance, and Field Leadership on compensation initiatives </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Required</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree (CCP certification preferred or interest in pursuing) </li><li>2 to 5 years of experience in compensation, HR analytics, payroll, or related analytical function </li><li>Experience supporting merit, incentive, or compensation cycle administration </li><li>Strong analytical mindset with the ability to identify trends and recommend solutions </li><li>Advanced Excel skills including modeling, pivot tables, lookups, and data analysis </li><li>Experience with ADP EV5 or comparable HRIS/payroll systems </li><li>Strong attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines </li></ul> <p>Preferred</p> <ul> <li>Experience in retail, multi-unit, or hourly workforce environments </li><li>Experience conducting salary surveys and interpreting market data </li><li>Exposure to compensation program design or total rewards strategy </li></ul> <p>Ideal Profile</p> <ul> <li>Execution-oriented with strong attention to detail </li><li>Strong data accuracy and process management skills </li><li>Comfortable working within established compensation frameworks </li><li>Able to balance execution with forward-thinking, strategic insight </li><li>Developing compensation expertise with a continuous improvement mindset </li></ul> <p>Why Join The Vitamin Shoppe</p> <p>You will have the opportunity to influence compensation strategy across a multi-channel organization while partnering with leaders who are driving meaningful transformation. The estimated range is $80,000 - $88,000 per year.</p>
