<p>This position is paid from ESS allocations so it is funded for the 2025-2026 school year only.</p> <p>NOTICE OF POSSIBLE WAIVER: To expedite the hiring for this position, the hiring supervisor may apply for a waiver to prevent disruption of necessary instructional or support services.</p> <p>Assist a certificated teacher with providing instruction to individual or small groups; monitor and report student progress.</p> <p>This position is for 3 hours per day and 40 student instructional days.</p> <p>Contracted days will be adjusted depending upon start date.</p> <p>Position is part-time and not eligible for benefits unless combined with another position.</p> <ul> <li>Proficient in leading small-group reading interventions </li><li>Organized in order to ensure proper monitoring and reporting of student progress </li><li>Positive and collaborative attitude </li><li>Demonstrates strong work ethic including attendance and punctuality </li><li>Cooperative </li><li>Patient </li><li>Flexible </li><li>Must have 64 college credit hours and a 2.5 GPA and provide a copy to HR upon recommendation to hire. </li></ul> <p>New employees to the district may bring in up to 10 years of comparable, full-time, verified experience. (NOTE: It will be the responsibility of the applicant hired to submit the BCPS verification of experience form to their prior employer to complete and return to HR.)</p> <p>Step 0: $15.98 per hour</p> <p>Step 10: $19.67 per hour</p> <p>Although Classified positions are paid at an hourly rate, salary is set up on a year-long contract and divided by the number of remaining paychecks.
