The purpose of the role is to ensure systems are configured correctly to meet financial reporting requirements and support consistent, scalable practices across the network. The successful candidate will support ERP financial validation efforts, in partnership with the Astra finance team and local OpCo teams.</p> <p>This position will report to the Chief Programs Officer on an interim basis and will report into the Finance organization once the Chief Financial Officer (currently vacant) position is filled.</p> <p>Core Competencies and Experience</p> <ul> <li>Hands-on experience with ERP configuration and financial system implementations. </li><li>Strong technical knowledge of ERP financial modules (e.g., GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets). </li><li>Exposure to monthly close process including assisting with reconciliations, journal entries, and financial reporting support, preferably within a service organization. </li><li>Demonstrated success in accelerating month end close cycles improving efficiency and reporting accuracy with ERP tools </li><li>Direct experience validating financial processes as part of ERP sustainment and software release cycles </li><li>Understanding of absorption accounting and associated processes </li><li>Familiarity with enterprise security considerations in financial reporting, including awareness of best practices for access controls and data protection. </li><li>Familiarity with multi-currency financial reporting concepts, including foreign exchange impacts such as revaluation and translation. </li><li>Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority. </li><li>Excellent communication skills and social agility to work across varying levels of financial experience. </li><li>Comfort with ambiguity and ability to drive clarity in decentralized environments. </li><li>Track record of high performance in fast-paced, growth-oriented businesses. </li><li>Willingness and ability to travel up to 20% to support on-site integration and ERP work. </li></ul> <p>Compensation</p> <p>The salary range for this position is $105-140K annually, depending on experience and qualifications.</p> <p>Work Location</p> <p>We are seeking someone to join our team in person in our Boulder, CO office.</p> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>3-5 years of relevant experience in ERP financial configuration and integration. </li><li>Contribute to ERP implementation projects by supporting finance-related tasks such as data validation, process documentation, and user testing. </li><li>Ability to influence across all levels, including executives and early-career staff. </li><li>Strong change management, communication, and adaptability skills. </li><li>Experience in a high-growth, acquisition-driven business environment preferred. </li></ul> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>This role will act as an objective liaison and advisor between integration teams and the Finance team to ensure system design supports scalable and accurate financial reporting. </li><li>Will work in close coordination with the VP of Integration who oversees overall program management for new acquisitions. </li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams on ERP financial modules (GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets), contributing financial insight and assisting with configuration and validation efforts. </li><li>Travel regularly (up to 20%) to OpCos to build relationships, lead testing, and support financial systems adoption on the ground. </li></ul>
