The impact you will make: Agios Pharmaceuticals is searching for a dynamic Executive Assistant to join our growing Tech Ops and Business Ops teams. We want someone who cares about this important work, and who's driven to connect to our mission of helping these patient communities. The Executive Assistant will be responsible for supporting our Chief Technical Operations Officer and Chief Corporate Development and Strategy Officer. As an extension of these functions, you will independently handle a wide range of administrative and executive support-related tasks. The desired candidate is well-organized, flexible and enjoys the dynamic challenges of supporting an office of diverse people and changing priorities. What you will do: Heavy calendar management, requiring interaction with a variety of different parties, to coordinate a variety of internal and external meetings Schedule external partner meetings and support business development conference scheduling Coordinate events, catering, and additional meeting logistics Supporting/organizing/Updating BD spreadsheets as requested Uploading partnering documents as necessary to confidential databases Arrange travel plans including air, hotel, ground transportation and meal reservations Provide logistical support for Agios vendors, field-based employees and outside visitors including travel, reimbursements, payments & catering Prepare expense reports and related documentation Collaboration with other administrative assistants Other duties as assigned What you bring: Demonstrated success in previous C-level support Proven ability to work with a high level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail The ability to interact with colleagues in a fast-paced environment, while remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful, and efficient and with a high level of professionalism Self-motivated with the ability to act with urgency and passion Strong organizational skills to effectively maintain a high level of productivity, innovation, and priority-setting to complete assignments on time Excellent oral and written communication skills for effectively interfacing with all departments within the company Ability to make thoughtful, integrated, timely and meaningful decisions and take corresponding actions Entrepreneur, enjoys working in a fast-paced, small-company environment Flexibility in handling workflow in a multi-tasking environment Ability to work under pressure, meeting time sensitive deadlines Ability to integrate planning efforts across departments to ensure organizational effectiveness Strong MS Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills Concerned that you don't check off every box in the requirements listed above? Hybrid schedules vary but are generally less than 3 days per week onsite. Regular conversations with managers are encouraged to ensure alignment on in-person presence/expectations. Employees in this role are expected to live within a commutable distance to the office and some travel may be required commensurate to the above job description and/or to attend team meetings and other company events. This includes base salary and both short- and long-term incentives that are connected to our business strategy and vary based on individual and company performance. The current base salary range for this position is expected to be between $79,633 and $119,449 annualized; final salary will be determined based on various factors including, but not limited to, years of relevant experience, job knowledge, skills and proficiency, degree/education, and internal comparators.
