<p>Your Opportunity</p> <p>The Strategy & Transformation Team within Schwab's Client Service & Support organization is responsible for developing and orchestrating high impact service strategies designed to enhance the client and employee experience.</p> <p>As a Senior Statistical Analyst on our team, you will be responsible for using data to generate insights that paint a compelling picture enabling senior leadership to make informed business decisions. You will work closely with a team of strategists, product owners, and analysts who contribute to the delivery of a best-in-class service experience. With your data driven recommendations, you will influence a wide stakeholder audience to deliver a more positive outcome.</p> <p>What you are good at</p> <ul> <li>Passionate about leveraging data and analytics to identify solutions for complex business problems </li><li>Distilling large amounts of information into a succinct "so-what" </li><li>Collaborating with a diverse stakeholder ecosystem to understand business needs </li><li>Working with a cross functional group of stakeholders to deliver insights in a fast-paced and ever evolving environment </li><li>Leaving no stone unturned when analyzing a problem </li><li>Validating hypothesis through analysis and telling a compelling story for senior leadership </li><li>Proactively identifying yet to be discovered opportunities through data </li><li>Influencing without authority </li><li>Structuring a complex business problem into a succinct analytical approach </li></ul> <p>What you have</p> <ul> <li>3+ years of work experience in analytics, data science, or strategy (consulting experience a plus) </li><li>Superior qualitative analytical skills, creativity in problem solving, and attention to detail </li><li>Demonstrated success supporting delivery for concurrent projects. </li><li>Demonstrated success developing junior resources. </li><li>High proficiency with data management and manipulation with SQL, Python, and Teradata; bonus if you have Google Cloud and unstructured data experience. </li><li>High Proficiency with MS Office Products (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc.) </li><li>Proven experience querying both structured and unstructured datasets </li><li>Experience working with BI tools (Tableau, PowerBI, etc.) </li><li>Bachelor's degree preferably in Business or quantitative fields such as Finance, Economics, Math, Statistics, Engineering </li><li>Proven ability to write clearly, succinctly, and in a manner that appeals to a wide audience </li><li>Ability to leverage data to paint a compelling argument for driving long term business results </li><li>Confidence dealing with ambiguity in a dynamic and fast paced work environment </li><li>Proficiency with R, SAS a plus </li></ul>
