A fully integrated, global supplier of wood products, NWH serves the furniture, flooring, cabinet, molding, and millwork industries.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities and Duties:</p> <ul> <li>Receiving and shipping wood products (loading/unloading containers and flatbed trucks with forklift). </li><li>Pulling and loading orders </li><li>Inventory management (FIFO and cycle counts) </li><li>Warehouse Upkeeping </li></ul> <p>Basic Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Safety-conscious attitude and experience. </li><li>Must possess skills, knowledge, and experience in the field of inventory/warehouse </li><li>Strong work ethic with the ability to be flexible in a fast-paced, changing environment. </li><li>Must work well as a team member. </li><li>Highly organized and proven communication skills. </li><li>Operate all assigned material handling equipment </li><li>Follow all NWH Standards for Lift Drivers </li><li>Manage complex workflows supporting production and shipping </li><li>Proper loading and unloading of inbound and outbound lumber </li><li>Proper storing following FIFO guidelines </li><li>Lead by example in safety, quality, and productivity </li><li>Train, coach, and validate other operators </li><li>Support audits, inventories, and CI initiatives </li><li>Collaborating with supervisors on workflow planning </li><li>Unload all OSP lumber off flatbeds </li><li>Receiving all inbound OSP lumber </li><li>Control GRN inventory </li><li>Snow removal and driveway repair </li><li>Load all containers with the shipper </li><li>Load one or both stackers infeed decks </li><li>Backup high lift driver as needed </li><li>Must have excellent attendance </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Forklift experience and or forklift safety certification </li><li>3 to 5 years' experience operating larger lift Trucks </li><li>Forklift certification is preferred </li><li>Inventory management or WMS experience </li></ul> <p>Travel: None</p> <p>Additional Information:</p> <p>Northwest Hardwoods provides competitive wages, comprehensive benefits package with medical, dental, and vision health care coverage, paid vacation/holidays, and company matching 401(k) retirement plan.</p> <p>Candidates who meet these qualifications will be considered further.</p> <p>Northwest Hardwoods, Inc is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
