You are responsible for carrying out critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm's business objectives.</p> <p>Job responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Executes software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems </li><li>Creates secure and high-quality production code and maintains algorithms that run synchronously with appropriate systems </li><li>Produces architecture and design artifacts for complex applications while being accountable for ensuring design constraints are met by software code development </li><li>Gathers, analyzes, synthesizes, and develops visualizations and reporting from large, diverse data sets in service of continuous improvement of software applications and systems </li><li>Proactively identifies hidden problems and patterns in data and uses these insights to drive improvements to coding hygiene and system architecture </li><li>Contributes to software engineering communities of practice and events that explore new and emerging technologies </li><li>Adds to team culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect </li></ul> <p>Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills</p> <ul> <li> <p>Formal training or certification on Software Engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experience</p> </li><li> <p>3+ years of hands-on mainframe testing experience, including test planning, test case design, execution, and defect management</p> </li><li> <p>Demonstrated knowledge of software applications and technical processes within the mainframe technical discipline ( COBOL, DB2, JCL ,VSAM, CICS, MQ)</p> </li><li> <p>Experience with File Aid, Expeditor, Stored Procedures, Endevor, CA-7, NDM, MFTS, s-FTP, XML, CLIST, REXX</p> </li><li> <p>Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability</p> </li><li> <p>Proficiency in mainframe testing tools such as IBM Debug Tool, Xpediter, File-AID, and ISPF for test data setup and validation</p> </li><li> <p>Experience with batch job testing, JCL validation, and online transaction testing in a mainframe environment</p> </li><li> <p>Solid understanding of regression testing, integration testing, and end-to-end testing methodologies for complex mainframe systems</p> </li><li> <p>Experience in test data management, data masking, and test environment configuration on mainframe platforms</p> </li><li> <p>Familiarity with defect tracking and test management tools such as JIRA, ALM, or equivalent</p> </li></ul> <p>Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills</p> <ul> <li>Experience with test automation frameworks and tools for mainframe applications </li><li>Proficiency in programming languages such Java/Python for scripting </li><li>Testing Frameworks: JUnit, Powermock / Mockito, Cucumber, Mutation Testing, Selenium </li><li>Familiarity with DevOps tools like Jules, Jenkins, Maven </li></ul>
