The Clinician provides milieu management services to promote a safe, therapeutic environment utilizing psychiatric rehabilitation and other evidence-based practice models.</p> <p>Essential Functions:</p> <ul> <li>Monitors activities of daily living for clients and provides skills-training as needed. </li><li>Documents intervention and program activity and maintains accurate and timely clinical records </li><li>Provides medication administration as directed by Colorado regulations, facility policies and procedures, and physician orders </li><li>Coordinates care with consumer, families, center staff, and/or external facilities to ensure continuation of care </li><li>Attends and participates in supervision, team meetings, and in-services education and training opportunities </li><li>Provides therapeutic crisis intervention and emergency services as required </li><li>Monitors collection of urine drug screens and breathalyzers </li><li>Responsible for cooking, aiding in house laundry and clean-up of the facility </li><li>Transports consumers to appointments as needed </li><li>Complete admission check-ins to units, provide regular safety checks on units, and monitor clients regularly </li><li>Maintains confidentiality of consumer record </li><li>Other duties as assigned </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Preferred bachelor's degree in human services or related field, high school degree required. </li><li>6+ months of experience working with adults who have mental illness, particularly those individuals diagnosed with a serious and persistent mental illness preferred but not required </li><li>Communication, organization, time management, and clinical skills </li><li>Valid Colorado Driver's license with a clean driving record </li><li>Bilingual Spanish preferred, but not required </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Regularly required to, stand, sit; talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and keyboard. </li><li>Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements due to computer work. </li><li>Light to moderate lifting is required, </li><li>Regular, predictable attendance is required. </li></ul> <p>Schedule:</p> <p>Thursday - Saturday, 11:55 pm - 8:00 am (overnight)</p> <p>Pay Information:</p> <p>$25.04 - $27.50 per hour + shift deferential pay</p> <p>Eligible for $250/month bilingual stipend</p> <p>Application Deadline:</p> <p>Accepting applications on an on-going basis</p> <p>So-what do you think?</p> <p>If you've come this far, we're eager to meet you.
