Moran, Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources</p> <p>SUBJECT: COMMUNITY SCHOOLS SUMMER 2026 - PROGRAM SUPERVISORS</p> <p>Teachers are needed to supervise the programs listed below. Positions are contingent upon funding and adequate student enrollment.</p> <p>The programs are as follows:</p> <ol> <li>Act One Scene 1 </li><li>Engineering Is Everywhere </li></ol> <p>Supervisors will be responsible for collecting attendance, for program scheduling, for submitting payroll, and other tasks. Ten (10) hours of program prep/comp will be provided.</p> <p>QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <ol> <li>A minimum of 5 years of teaching/work experience in the BPS system </li><li>Prior program supervisory experience strongly preferred </li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills </li><li>Working knowledge of MS Word & Excel, as well as a comfort level using online software and survey and survey tools </li><li>Ability to successfully collaborate with school leadership, parents, and community partners </li><li>Willingness to be responsible for the development, implementation, supervision, and evaluation of an OST program </li><li>Strong organizational skills and an ability to multitask </li><li>Training and experience in project-based learning strongly preferred </li><li>Must commit to work the entire program and attend training </li></ol> <p>DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <ol> <li>Assist in the recruitment of students and staff 4.Plan/hold staff meeting/training 5.Collect data for program evaluation and other information as required by the MA DESE 6.Supervise program operations 7.Determine program supply needs, maintain a supply inventory, and return non-consumables at the end of the program 8.Other duties as directed by the Director of Community Schools and the program coordinator </li></ol> <p>The supervisor positions begin 30 minutes before the start of the program and end 30 minutes after the program closure.</p> <p>Contact Information: Dr. Soraya De Barros-Monteiro - Director 20 Union St. Brockton, MA 02301</p>
