The technician will engage in calibration, assembly, and adjustment tasks, leveraging ticketing and ERP systems for operational efficiency. Ideal candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, with a preference for those with additional technical training. Performs a wide variety of electronic, electro-mechanical, mechanical or measurement product assembly operations on product components, assemblies or sub-assemblies. Fits, aligns, calibrates and adjusts parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product operating requirements; repairs units or products that have failed to meet requirements. Makes setups and adjustments holding tolerances to blueprint specifications.</p> <p>Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Demonstrate attention to detail and ensure quality in all work processes. </li><li>Maintain reliability in attendance and task completion. </li><li>Conduct basic troubleshooting and diagnosing at the board level. </li><li>Apply electronic fundamentals and logic in daily tasks. </li><li>Read schematics and blueprints accurately for job requirements. </li><li>Set up test apparatus for testing assemblies and equipment following established methods and standards. </li><li>Use hand and power tools at an intermediate level, including a variety of tools for specific tasks. </li><li>Operate measuring and testing devices (e.g., volt-amp meters, oscilloscopes, function generators) with intermediate skill. </li><li>Perform calibration and adjustments using test equipment, identifying problems with alignment and calibration. </li><li>Execute sub-assembly and final assembly of parts and products according to engineering drawings and specifications with intermediate ability. </li><li>Navigate and utilize the ticketing system (Oracle Service Cloud) and ERP system (Oracle ERP) at a basic level for incident viewing and completing depot repairs. </li><li>Understand inventory controls at a basic level. </li></ul> <p>Education and Experience Requirements</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent required; further technical or vocational education in electronics, mechanics, or related fields is preferred. </li><li>Fundamental understanding of electronic principles, logic, schematics, and blueprint reading. </li><li>Hands-on experience or familiarity with hand and power tools, as well as measuring and testing devices. </li><li>Basic proficiency in using SAP ERP systems is advantageous. </li><li>Prior experience in a technical support or electronics repair role is beneficial, though not strictly necessary for candidates with strong foundational skills and the ability to learn quickly. </li></ul> <p>Working Conditions and Physical Demands</p> <p>To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
