Additional duties include access control, escorting,</p> <p>response to alarms and events, and relieving fixed posts. All security activities shall be coordinated and</p> <p>communicated to the ROC via the intercom, radio or landline.</p> <ul> <li>Security Professionals identify and report Life Safety issues, tour the building to prevent and identify </li></ul> <p>potential incidents and respond accordingly to an event. Monitor critical infrastructure; provide</p> <p>perimeter security, monitor control access points, i.e. turnstiles, dock, emergency exits. This post will</p> <p>require knowledge of the property in its entirety and the use of an access control card or post keys to</p> <p>enter required locations.</p> <ul> <li>Security Professionals must report anything out of the ordinary to the ROC Analyst. Security Professional </li></ul> <p>will be required to fill out a Daily Activity Report (DAR) and have knowledge of emergency SOPs as well</p> <p>as general working knowledge of other posts as they will be reliving various posts.</p> <p>Minimum Qualifications of Security Officers:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent (GED) is required. </li><li>Minimum of 2 years of experience in corporate security, hospitality, or a customer service-focused </li></ul> <p>environment.</p> <ul> <li>Demonstrated proficiency in using computers, standard security software, and Microsoft Office Suite </li></ul> <p>for reporting and documentation.</p> <ul> <li>Requires a high degree of professional maturity and sound judgment necessary to handle </li></ul> <p>complex tenant interactions and sensitive security matters.</p> <ul> <li>Previous security experience within a High-Rise Commercial Office Building environment is </li></ul> <p>strongly preferred and will be considered a significant asset.</p> <ul> <li>Clean Driving Record </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications of Security Officers:</p> <ul> <li>Bi-lingual considered a plus </li><li>Evening, overnight, and weekend availability required </li></ul> <p>Pay and Benefits of Security Officers:</p> <ul> <li>Positions starting at $20.00 </li><li>Paid time off and paid holidays </li><li>Medical and Dental insurance </li><li>Opportunities for career growth and promotion </li><li>Skills-enhancing training </li></ul> <p>EOE/M/F/D/V</p> <p>#HP</p>
