This includes making recommendations, conducting surveillance, and maintaining hospital-wide infection surveillance, prevention, and control policies. Infection Preventionist will confer with organizational stakeholders and local health departments to implement infection reduction strategies and best practices.</p> <p>Required: Certifications/Licenses/Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Active Registered Nurse (RN) in Indiana or other compact licensure state </li><li>3-5 years of acute patient care, preferably in an RN role </li><li>Certification from APIC, CIC much be obtained within 2 years of hire </li></ul> <p>Preferred Certification/License/Experience:</p> <ul> <li> <p>BSN</p> </li><li> <p>Membership in APIC or SHEA, with CIC (Certification of Infection Control) upon hire preferred</p> </li><li> <p>Will have two years to obtain</p> </li><li> <p>Specialized training/experience in Infection Control or related field preferred</p> </li></ul> <p>Other Key Words: Infection Control // Performance Improvement // Registered Nurse</p> <p>Hours: Full-time, 40 hours/week</p>
