Supervises the rating team in evaluating data, developing rating methodologies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to maintain high standards of accuracy and efficiency.</p> <p>Major Tasks and Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Supervises daily operations of the rating team, providing guidance and support in freight rating-related activities. </li><li>Reviews and validates freight bills to ensure accurate application of rates and adherence to company policies. </li><li>Analyzes performance metrics and conducts regular audits to identify discrepancies, implement corrective actions, and enhance processes. </li><li>Develops and enforces rating methodologies and guidelines to ensure consistency and compliance in billing practices. </li><li>Partners with business partners and cross-functional teams to address customer inquiries and establish accurate rates and quotes. </li><li>Facilitates training and development opportunities for team members to promote knowledge sharing and skill enhancement. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field. </li><li>2+ years of billing or related experience. </li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office, billing tools, and transportation application systems. </li></ul> <p>Benefits</p> <p>At Saia, your success is our success!
