This role performs litter collection both on-site and off-site at the landfill.</p> <p>Duties and Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Collect wind-blown litter. </li><li>Use hand tools as required. </li><li>Observe safety regulations during operations. </li><li>Maintain simple records and logs. </li><li>Repair, construct, and maintain litter-collection fences and screening panels. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications and Requirements:</p> <p>A combination of the following experience and training would be qualifying.</p> <ul> <li>Experience performing manual labor for extended periods of time in all weather conditions. </li></ul> <p>Working Conditions:</p> <ul> <li>Ability to sit, stand, kneel, crouch, squat, stoop, reach, crawl, twist, climb, and lift 75 pounds, exposure to cold, heat, noise, outdoors, vibration, confined workspace, and mechanical hazards. </li></ul> <p>Applicants who are offered appointments will be required to pass a drug screening, a comprehensive background investigation, and a driver's license check.</p> <p>The City of Laramie is an EEO/ADA employer and a smoke-free workplace.</p>
