Click here for more information on compensation for these roles. </li><li>In addition to competitive compensation, DPS has other Total Reward offerings such as; time off, health and wellness benefits, and PERA Retirement. </li></ul> <p>What You'll Do:</p> <ul> <li>Teaches assigned courses to adults and postsecondary education option students (PSEO) ages 17 and older aligned with standards and requirements outlined in the individual course syllabi and program approval </li><li>Writes unit lesson plans, daily lesson plans and various written and performance assessments, as directed </li><li>Maintains program compliance with program approval </li><li>Maintains appropriate inventory for all program equipment materials and supplies </li><li>Maintains and accurately reports all student grades using appropriate software systems used by the school; maintain all student records, takes daily attendance, and performs other related administrative tasks </li><li>Attends and participates in faculty, departmental, advisory committee and other professional meetings; participate in professional development activities </li></ul> <p>What You'll Need:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's or relevant work experience minimum required </li><li>Masher's Degree in related industry or field preferred </li><li>Five (5) years experience in a related occupation within the preceding 10 years. </li><li>Broad knowledge of techniques and practices used in the related industry in subject area </li><li>Lead for racial and educational excellence and work to dismantle systems of oppression and inequity in our community, along with believing in and supporting all students so they feel seen and heard with access to high quality education. </li><li>Live and work with a permanent home address in Colorado while working with us. </li><li>Have the ability with or without accommodations to meet the physical demands of the position. </li></ul> <p>Denver Public Schools is an Equal Opportunity Employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy, gender expression, and sexual orientation), parental status, national origin, age, disability, genetic information (including family medical history), political affiliation, military service, or any other status protected by law or regulations.
