Learn more at https://www.jnj.com/medtech</p> <p>Position Summary</p> <p>The Senior Marketing Manager, GSM Advanced Stapling - Front End will be responsible for the Advanced Stapling portfolio innovation pipeline. The individual will shape and lead front end projects from early ideation to charter, contributing to our future pipeline enhancement goals.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Lead and/or support development of pipeline opportunities for the Advanced Stapling portfolio. </li><li>Lead pipeline projects through the front end Stage Gate Process, including Charter development/presentation while ensuring alignment with new product development Sr. Leadership. </li><li>Develop and implement a strategic learning plan to support customer insights identification, concept refinement, project scope definition, and case assessment. </li><li>Partner with R&D and Finance to complete early valuation assessments of pipeline projects. </li><li>Identify customer insights and actively monitor competitive landscape to appropriately define the needs for the Platform. </li><li>Effectively collaborate with key business partners, including R&D, Global Strategic Insights, Industrial Design, Regional Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, Quality, Regulatory, Preclinical and Medical Affairs. </li><li>Collaborate with the Ottava Instruments & Accessories (I&A) team to align future innovation pipeline strategy across surgical approaches - Open, Lap, Robotic - and ensure it meets the needs of customers. </li><li>Lead and/or support ad hoc initiatives for the broader EndoMech portfolio such as Business Planning, Customer Insight Sessions, Innovation in Real Life events, MIS/Robotics Surgery strategy, Global R&D opportunities, etc. </li></ul> <p>Required Skills and Experience</p> <ul> <li>A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree </li><li>MBA or equivalent is highly preferred, with Marketing, Strategy, or Finance emphasis. </li><li>8 years of progressive business experience in roles that demonstrate increasing responsibility and expertise in relevant areas such as product or disease state marketing, strategy, sales, professional or commercial education, and execution roles. </li><li>Experience in new product development with specific focus on need state identification, customer insights generation, and concept development. </li><li>Demonstrated ability to translate feedback from multiple different collaborators/touchpoints and distill it down to a detailed, actionable recommendation. </li><li>A strong understanding of marketing fundamentals, including segmentation, targeting, value propositions, promotion and pricing. </li><li>Experience leading or conducting a market research study and/or strategy. </li><li>Understanding of business and financial competence to value different business opportunities and translate them into a strategic recommendation. </li><li>Ability to operate in a global organization, influencing cross-functional teams and key partners without direct authority. </li><li>Effective communication skills to drive understanding and alignment across functions and regions. </li></ul> <p>Additional Information:</p> <p>Domestic and international travel up to 25% may be required, assuming J&J policies/protocols allow for travel</p> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Marketing experience is strongly preferred. </li><li>Front end marketing experience is preferred. </li><li>Experience interpreting market data and research study results to generate insights and develop strategies and tactics. </li><li>Experience collaborating with international colleagues to generate aligned strategies and tactics. </li><li>Knowledge of advanced surgical stapling products and the clinical procedures they are used in. </li><li>Knowledge of global medical technology markets. </li></ul> <p>Benefits Summary:</p> <ul> <li>Employees and/or eligible dependents may be eligible to participate in the following Company sponsored employee benefit programs: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, business accident insurance, and group legal insurance. </li><li>Employees may be eligible to participate in the Company's consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)). </li><li>This position is eligible to participate in the Company's long-term incentive program. </li><li>Employees are eligible for the following time off benefits: </li><li>Vacation - up to 120 hours per calendar year </li><li>Sick time - up to 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington - up to 56 hours per calendar year </li><li>Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays - up to 13 days per calendar year </li><li>Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year </li></ul> <p>Additional information can be found through the link below!</p> <p>https://www.careers.jnj.com/employee-benefits</p> <p>Johnson & Johnson is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
