<p>Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) Position Summary</p> <p>Under the supervision of an RN or LPN, performs basic patient care activities in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice. Reports to the Director or Manager of Department.</p> <p>Essential Functions Additional Information</p> <p>Patient Populations Served: Neonate, Infant, Early Childhood, Late Childhood, Adolescent, Young Adult, Middle Adult, Older Adult.</p> <p>Protected Health Information Accessed: Demographic, Clinical, Insurance, Financial, Complete Medical Record.</p> <p>Exposure: Occupational exposure to bloodborne pathogens is present for all employees.</p> <p>Physical Requirements: Frequent standing, walking, lifting/moving patients, and repetitive hand/arm movements. Regular exposure to biological and chemical hazards, including blood and bodily fluids, hazardous medications, and latex.</p> <p>Knowledge, Skills & Abilities</p> <p>The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and/or abilities required.</p> <p>Education: High School diploma preferred.</p> <p>License: /Certifications: Certified Nursing Assistant in state of practice; BLS required; Handle with Care preferred.</p>
