We're hiring Forklift Operators for both 1st and 2nd shift!</p> <ul> <li>1st shift, Sun-Wed & Wed-Sat 7:00am-5:30pm </li><li>2nd Shift, Mon-Fri 5:30pm-2:00am </li></ul> <p>Must have prior forklift experience on cherry picker, or reach truck.</p> <p>POSITION SUMMARY</p> <p>The Warehouse Associate 2 will perform tasks associated with shipping, receiving, and the material handling process at RealTruck, including receiving shipments, stocking, inventory control, picking, packing, staging orders and shipping products, primarily using powered industrial trucks.</p> <p>CORE FUNCTIONS</p> <ul> <li>Prepare product for movement throughout the warehouse, including sorting, scanning, repackaging, palletizing, labeling, and wrapping, </li><li>Operate powered equipment to move products throughout the warehouse safely and efficiently, once certified. </li><li>Perform routine maintenance checks on the forklift and report any issues or malfunctions to the supervisor. </li><li>Assemble component parts into kits; packages and labels kits; enters kit data into WMS. </li><li>Pick and pack bulk and drop-ship inventory for shipment according to customer order; stages inventory for shipment; loads trailers. </li><li>Unload trailers; receives product, verifying accuracy against PO and packing slip in WMS. </li><li>Scan palletized product wraps and labels according to customer requirements and loads pallets onto trailers. </li><li>Receives returned product; verifies warranty status; updates WMS; prepares product for disposal or return to stock. </li><li>Trains other employees; maintains a clean and safe workspace; other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS</p> <p>Education and Experience</p> <ul> <li>Highschool Diploma required. </li><li>6-12 months of related experience and or training required. </li><li>2-5 years of related experience and/or training preferred. </li><li>Previous forklift experience preferred. </li></ul> <p>Required Licenses</p> <ul> <li>Driver's license preferred. </li></ul> <p>Skills, Abilities, and Knowledge</p> <ul> <li>Skilled in the use of a pallet jack, tape gun. </li><li>Basic computer skills. </li><li>Skilled in the operation of a computer with emphasis on WMS and MS Office. </li><li>Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. </li><li>Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. </li><li>Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, work instructions, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. </li><li>Ability to count and perform basic math. </li><li>Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. </li></ul> <p>Travel</p> <ul> <li>None. </li></ul> <p>COMPETENCIES</p> <ul> <li> <ul> <li>Adapts to changes in the work environment; Manages competing demands; Changes approach or method to best fit the situation; Able to deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events. </li></ul> </li><li> <ul> <li>Follows instructions, responds to management direction; Takes responsibility for own actions; Keeps commitments; commits to long hours of work when necessary to reach goals.
