<p>Essential Duties and Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li> <p>Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene.</p> </li><li> <p>Safely transfer and escort residents to and from activities, meals, and appointments in accordance with individual service plans.</p> </li><li> <p>Serve meals to residents in the dining room or in their apartments as needed.</p> </li><li> <p>Observe residents' eating habits and report any changes or concerns to the supervising nurse.</p> </li><li> <p>Provide support to residents to promote comfort, safety, and emotional well-being.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful environment for residents.</p> </li><li> <p>Follow established care plans, policies, and procedures.</p> </li><li> <p>Promote quality resident care in compliance with company standards, as well as state and federal regulations.</p> </li><li> <p>Perform related non-professional duties as assigned.</p> </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li> <p>Current New York State Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to work effectively under the supervision of licensed nursing staff.</p> </li><li> <p>Strong interpersonal and communication skills.</p> </li><li> <p>Compassionate, patient-centered approach to resident care.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including standing, walking, lifting, and transferring residents.</p> </li></ul> <p>Education</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or GED required. </li></ul>
