<p>Job Title: M/E/P Manager</p> <p>Employment Type: Full-Time</p> <p>FSLA: Salary/Exempt</p> <p>Division: Project Services Group</p> <p>Department: Mechanical/Electrical/Plumbing (M/E/P)</p> <p>Reports to: Director of M/E/P Services</p> <p>Supervisory Duties: Yes</p> <p>The M/E/P Manager provides technical expertise in Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Protection (MEP/FP) engineering. This individual serves as a subject matter expert for both internal and external stakeholders by identifying constructability issues, contributing to project schedules, overseeing commissioning efforts, and supporting the successful delivery of MEP/FP systems across all phases of construction.</p> <p>Responsibilities / Essential Functions</p> <ul> <li>Provide MEP/FP technical oversight from preconstruction through closeout. </li><li>Review and coordinate MEP/FP design documents for constructability and system integration. </li><li>Participate in design and coordination meetings with consultants, owners, and project teams. </li><li>Evaluate subcontractor proposals, scopes of work, and prequalification packages. </li><li>Monitor MEP construction progress and ensure work aligns with plans, specifications, and code requirements. </li><li>Support the development of MEP schedules and sequencing in coordination with project teams. </li><li>Review and track MEP submittals, RFIs, and change orders. </li><li>Coordinate field inspections, startup, and testing/commissioning of MEP/FP systems. </li><li>Collaborate with commissioning agents to verify system performance and documentation. </li><li>Troubleshoot MEP system issues and work with subcontractors to resolve them. </li><li>Assist in evaluating MEP-related cost impacts, value engineering options, and project risks. </li><li>Serve as a technical resource and mentor to project team members and field personnel. </li></ul> <p>Key Skills</p> <ul> <li>Ability to work on multiple projects or tasks at once. </li><li>Outstanding attention to detail. </li><li>Proactive and innovative problem solver. </li><li>Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment. </li><li>Team player that can interact with all project team members, subcontractors, field staff, and clients. </li><li>Clear and effective communicator. </li></ul> <p>Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. </li><li>5-10 years of experience in the construction industry. </li><li>5+ years of experience with M/E/P design, commissioning, and construction. </li></ul>
