<p>The Production Supervisor helps to ensure the manufacturing process remains smooth and efficient by organizing workflows and monitoring staff. They direct, train, motivate and assist lower-level manufacturing and production workers, both directly and through floor leads.</p> <p>The Production Supervisor will implement assigned work, organizing, monitoring, and prioritizing tasks to meet production goals. They work as a liaison between employees and senior leadership to ensure procedures and policies are well-understood and the department's requirements are met.</p> <p>This position will report to a Production Manager.</p> <p>DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <ul> <li>Assist with managing the processing of products from start to finish in accordance with internal quality control specifications </li><li>Supervising operations within a facility to achieve higher output </li><li>Maintain communication between floor workers and production leadership </li><li>Organizing, monitoring, and prioritizing tasks to meet production goals </li><li>Ensuring compliance with safety and professional standards within a facility </li><li>Evaluate and communicate production operations to ensure optimum efficiency </li><li>Assist with interviewing and training new team members </li><li>Assist with providing leadership and resolve employee problems, complaints and grievances </li><li>Provide support and on-the-floor training to employees and leads to achieve goals </li><li>Assist with scheduling, managing and tracking labor in real-time through ADP </li><li>Monitor labor and overtime hours </li><li>Drive an environment of teamwork and open communication </li><li>Accountable for project completion and achievement of such goals </li><li>Help manage an environment that drives performance while maintaining a safe workplace </li><li>Help coordinate quality, safety, manufacturing, maintenance and distribution activities to meet and exceed the internal and external customer/regulatory expectations </li></ul>
