We work hard to inspire our diverse, well-rounded workforce and management team to always perform at the highest levels of safety and professionalism</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Perform scheduled maintenance, inspections, and repairs on heavy-duty diesel equipment. </li><li>Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues. </li><li>Use diagnostic tools and OEM software to identify system faults and error codes. </li><li>Disassemble and reassemble equipment components using technical manuals and specifications. </li><li>Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer performance standards. </li><li>Maintain accurate service records and complete work orders and reports. </li><li>Ensure adherence to all safety protocols and environmental regulations. </li><li>Keep work area clean and organized and tools in good working condition. </li><li>Communicate effectively with supervisors, operators, and parts departments regarding job status and equipment needs. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or GED required; technical school diploma in diesel mechanics or related field preferred. </li><li>2+ years of experience as a diesel mechanic working on heavy equipment (including 50 Ton Haul Trucks, wheel loaders, skid steers, etc.) commonly used in industrial, port and ship load out, and mining operations. </li><li>Strong understanding of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, powertrains, and electrical systems. </li><li>Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic tools. </li><li>Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment. </li><li>Valid driver's license required; CDL and/or heavy equipment operation certification is a plus. </li><li>ASE certification or OEM training certifications (e.g., Caterpillar, Komatsu, John Deere) preferred. </li></ul> <p>Core Competencies:</p> <ul> <li>Strong mechanical aptitude </li><li>Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills </li><li>Attention to detail and precision </li><li>Physical stamina and manual dexterity </li><li>Safety-oriented mindset </li><li>Team collaboration and time management </li></ul> <p>Pay range for this job $32-$45/hr</p> <p>Working Conditions:</p> <ul> <li>Work performed in shop environments and on field job sites in various weather conditions. </li><li>Requires lifting heavy parts (up to 75 lbs), standing, bending, and working in confined spaces. </li><li>May include overtime, weekend, and on-call hours depending on business needs. </li></ul> <p>What we offer</p> <ul> <li>up to $1500 sign on bonus *Terms and restrictions apply.
