You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver world-class GNSS and location solutions.</p> <p>Key responsibilities include:</p> <ul> <li>Design, develop, review, and maintain real-time embedded software in C and assembly language </li><li>Develop software within a multi-threaded architecture, including inter-process communication and multiple SW/FW interfaces </li><li>Collaborate with hardware teams to verify hardware features and debug hardware-related issues </li><li>Collaborate with systems teams on algorithm development, digital signal processing, and implementation </li><li>Work closely with test teams to diagnose and resolve system-level functional and performance issues </li><li>Contribute to software architecture, system design discussions, and development methodology </li><li>Optimize software for performance, memory usage, and power efficiency </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience. OR Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Software Engineering or related work experience. OR PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.</p> </li><li> <p>2+ years of academic or work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.</p> </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>3-5 years of experience designing, developing, and debugging medium to large-scale real-time embedded systems </li><li>Strong programming experience in C </li><li>Solid understanding of real-time operating systems (RTOS) and multi-threaded software design </li><li>Experience with ARM-based development and debugging tools (e.g., TRACE32) </li><li>Strong software engineering fundamentals and adherence to sound development processes </li><li>Ability to work effectively in a team environment and understand end-to-end system goals </li><li>Background in digital signal processing </li><li>Understanding of GNSS receiver concepts and operation </li><li>Experience with GNSS measurement engine receiver design </li><li>Hands-on experience with GNSS signal acquisition and tracking, including acquisition and tracking loops </li><li>Familiarity with GNSS navigation algorithms, state machines, and optimization techniques </li><li>Knowledge of WWAN technologies (WCDMA, LTE, 5G) or other communication protocols </li><li>Experience with MATLAB, and/or scripting languages such as Python or Perl </li><li>Experience in MIPS profiling, memory optimization, and power optimization </li><li>Self-driven, fast learner with a passion for innovative and scalable software solutions </li></ul> <p>Qualcomm is an equal opportunity employer.
