In this advanced role, you will operate nuclear medicine equipment with expert proficiency, ensuring safe, precise, and efficient examinations. Primary duties include:</p> <ul> <li>Conduct patient interviews, communicating clearly and compassionately with patients of all ages to explain procedures, provide reassurance, and promote a positive experience. </li><li>Prepare, perform quality control, calibrate, and administer radiopharmaceutical compounds. </li><li>Handle, prepare, witness, and administer adjunctive medications under direct physician supervision. </li><li>Perform patient imaging and therapeutic procedures, including computer processing and image enhancement. </li></ul> <p>Salary Range: $63.22/hour - $83.39/hour</p> <p>Job Qualifications</p> <p>Press space or enter keys to toggle section visibility</p> <ul> <li>Current certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) or the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). </li><li>Valid California Nuclear Medicine Technology license issued by the Department of Health Services, Radiologic Health Branch. </li></ul>
