<p>Estimating Assistant</p> <p>An Entry Level Position With An Opportunity For Advancement!</p> <p>Position: Full-Time, Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM</p> <p>Required Education: HS Diploma and/or GED Equivalent</p> <p>Education Preferred: Architectural Technology / Design / Construction</p> <p>Benefits: Health Insurance, Dental Insurance, Vision, Short Term and Long Term Disability, Critical Illness Insurance, Accident Insurance, Life Insurance, 401k Plan and Match</p> <p>Duties & Responsibilities:</p> <p>The Estimating Assistant will work under the direction of a Lead Estimator performing tasks as assigned. The Estimating Assistant will use computer technology and mathematical skills in the formation of the estimate.</p> <p>Essential Functions:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Assist with verification of plans and specifications</p> </li><li> <p>Brings description of plans and specifications to the attention of the Estimating Lead</p> </li><li> <p>Enters applicable information into software system Comsense as directed.</p> </li><li> <p>Compiles and sends out quote requests out to vendors.</p> </li><li> <p>Track and update files as addendum and Construction Bulletins are received</p> </li><li> <p>All other duties as assigned</p> </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li> <p>High School Diploma or equivalent.</p> </li><li> <p>Accurate mathematical skills.</p> </li><li> <p>Strong organizational skills, capable of multitasking and ability to prioritize tasks.</p> </li><li> <p>Knowledge of building and construction helpful, but not required.</p> </li><li> <p>Excellent oral communication skills and positive interpersonal skills.</p> </li><li> <p>Detail oriented, deadline conscience, and goal driven.</p> </li></ul>
