<p>Kforce has a client that is seeking a Lead Machine Learning Engineer in the following locations: NJ, DE Eastern PA, Eastern MD, NYC and Northern VA.</p> <p>Summary: As a Machine Learning/Python Lead Software Engineer, you serve as a seasoned member of an agile team to design and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. They are responsible for carrying out critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm's business objectives.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Learn about and understand our supported businesses in order to drive practical and successful solution </li><li>Execute software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems </li><li>Create secure and high-quality production code and maintains algorithms that run synchronously with appropriate systems </li><li>Produce architecture and design artifacts for complex applications while being accountable for ensuring design constraints are met by software code development </li><li>Gather, analyze, synthesize, and develop visualizations and reporting from large, diverse data sets in service of continuous improvement of software applications and systems </li><li>Proactively identify hidden problems and patterns in data and uses these insights to drive improvements to coding hygiene and system architecture </li><li>Contribute to software engineering communities of practice and events that explore new and emerging technologies </li><li>Add to team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect* Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience </li><li>Proficient in coding in one or more languages </li><li>Advanced experience in Python and distributed computing frameworks such as PySpark </li><li>Experience in setting up Machine Learning platform infrastructure and deploying to the cloud to develop and train machine learning models </li><li>Hands-on experience and solid understanding of machine learning methods and MLOps, deploying and scaling ML and AI Models on Public cloud services </li><li>Hands-on experience with AWS cloud-based application development and infrastructure - EC2, EKS </li><li>Experience in designing and building AWS data pipelines using Lambda, SQS, SNS, Athena, Glue, EMR, S3 to facilitate ML training </li><li>Experience analyzing and evaluating the ongoing performance of developed models </li><li>Experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment with one or more modern programming languages and database querying languages </li><li>Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability </li><li>Overall knowledge of the Model Development Life Cycle </li></ul> <p>Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:</p> <ul> <li>Practical cloud native experience </li><li>In-depth knowledge of the financial services industry and their IT systems </li></ul>
