We value and respect our employees - their experience and expertise as well as their energy, passion and diversity - and their innovative approach to work and to life.</p> <p>Are you ready to design your future?</p> <p>Be our next Architectural Designer for our Columbus, OH or Bedminster, NJ architectural team.</p> <p>Your work environment at EXP</p> <p>In this role, you will work with an award-winning international architecture firm.</p> <p>What a day at EXP has in store for you</p> <ul> <li>Lead the development of presentation documents and make design presentations to Clients. </li><li>Prepare construction documents in coordination with multi-discipline project team of architects, engineers and consultants. </li><li>Communicate and work in coordination with and oversight of the architect and senior program manager. </li><li>Quality control work before submitting to manager as complete. </li><li>Meet with product vendors to review specific products to be incorporated into the projects. </li><li>Perform code reviews and meet independently with local code officials to review and determine specific local code requirements and project compliance. </li><li>Perform bid phase and construction phase tasks including site visits, review of shop drawings, responding to requests for information, and issuing clarifications. </li></ul> <p>The Skills, Knowledge and Abilities We Seek</p> <ul> <li>Degree in architecture required from an architecturally accredited university. Bachelor's Degree required, Master's Degree strongly preferred. </li><li>Minimum 3 years experience in architecture preferred. </li><li>An enthusiastic desire to learn and work in a collaborative team environment </li><li>Detail-oriented with the ability to research to provide options and solutions </li><li>Must have a cursory knowledge of all phases of architectural practice. </li><li>Must be proficient with AutoCAD & Revit. Proficiency in Sketchup, Photoshop and other imaging and rendering software preferred. </li><li>Registered with NCARB Intern Development and AXP program with a pathway toward architectural registration. </li><li>Must be willing and able to travel to other office and project locations with the oversight of a Project Leader / Manager. </li></ul> <p>The pay range for this role is $60,000-$75,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location.
