As a Portfolio Leasing Consultant, you will rove among the portfolio of Sacramento-area Lewis communities, leading sales processes and superior service to potential and current residents of our upscale apartment communities. Your primary responsibility will be to use your strong sales skills to assist potential residents in finding their perfect home and ensuring a smooth leasing process.</p> <p>Some of your duties and responsibilities will include:</p> <ul> <li>Greet and engage with prospective residents, providing tours of the community and available units with a strong sales focus. </li><li>Conduct thorough and informative property tours, highlighting key features and amenities while effectively showcasing the benefits of living in our communities. </li><li>Explain leasing policies, answer questions, and utilize your sales acumen to encourage applicants to complete the application process. </li><li>Maintain up-to-date knowledge of property availability, pricing, and special promotions, using this information to drive sales. </li><li>Build and maintain strong relationships with current residents to promote resident retention. </li><li>Assist in the preparation of leasing agreements and related paperwork, ensuring clarity and accuracy. </li><li>Perform market research to stay informed about competitive properties and market trends, leveraging this information to improve sales strategies. </li><li>Collaborate with the property management team to meet and exceed leasing goals and occupancy targets. </li><li>Contribute to the development and implementation of marketing strategies that emphasize our competitive edge and attract potential residents. Other duties may be required, as needed.</p> <p>To be successful, your background should include:</p> <ul> <li>Previous sales experience, preferably in upscale retail/consumer sales, property management, or other applicable sales products, services, or industries. </li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong ability to close sales. </li><li>Proficiency in common office software, such as MS Outlook, Word, etc. Experience with property management software (e.g., OneSite, Yardi, AppFolio) is a plus. </li><li>Willingness to work weekends is required (your days off are during the week). </li><li>A valid driver's license is required. </li></ul> <p>ADDITIONAL INFO:</p> <p>Hours for this position are 9am-6pm and the days off are Friday and Saturday. Working weekends will be required.</p> <p>SALARY & BENEFITS:</p> <p>In addition to a competitive hourly salary of $25.00/hour plus a strong sales commission structure, you will qualify for annual bonus and pay raise eligibility every year.
