This role combines strong technical finance expertise in Accounting to Report (A2R) with strategic Finance Business Partnering (FBP) to drive value creation, ensure compliance, and support business decision-making.</p> <p>The ideal candidate will demonstrate executive presence and communication, a strong ability to lead through influence, and a solid positioning within both Global Services and the Innovative Medicine sector. This positioning is key to driving change, shaping strategic initiatives, and contributing to the broader impact and growth of Johnson & Johnson.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <p>Accounting to Report (Hard Finance):</p> <ul> <li>Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities ensuring timely and accurate financial statements. </li><li>Own Trial Balance, Income Statement and Balance Sheet reviews, BS-75 reporting, among others. </li><li>Ensure SOX compliance and support internal/external audit processes. </li><li>Drive standardization and process improvement across markets, leveraging digital tools (e.g., SAP, TM1, Alteryx, UiPath). </li></ul> <p>Finance Business Partnering:</p> <ul> <li>Act as strategic finance advisor to Commercial BUF and senior business leaders. </li><li>Provide financial insights and analysis to support planning, forecasting, and performance management. </li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives, M&A activities, and strategic projects. </li><li>Identify, propose, and execute process improvements that generate value through cost avoidance, compliance enhancement, and revenue generation. </li></ul> <p>Leadership & Influence:</p> <ul> <li>Lead and develop a high-performing finance team in LAN and LAS. </li><li>Foster a culture of curiosity, growth mindset, and accountability. </li><li>Champion DE&I and employee engagement initiatives. </li><li>Influence across GS Finance and BUF organizations to drive strategic alignment and change. </li><li>Support, influence, and execute SigniFi and any other Technological Transformation initiatives, managing change and shaping both processes and talent workforce strategies. </li></ul> <p>Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)</p> <ul> <li>Timeliness and accuracy of financial closings (monthly, quarterly, annual). </li><li>SOX compliance score and audit results (internal/external). </li><li>% of process standardization or automation implemented across A2R. </li><li>Number and impact of value-generating initiatives (cost avoidance, revenue generation). </li><li>Stakeholder satisfaction (measured via structured feedback or surveys). </li><li>Average or above Credo Score results for team engagement. </li><li>Retention of key talent and development of successors. </li><li>Recognition and influence within GS Finance (e.g., participation in strategic forums, leadership in initiatives). </li></ul> <p>Candidate Profile</p> <ul> <li>Proven experience in multinational and multicultural environments, ideally within different markets in Latam. </li><li>Strong ability to lead through influence in matrixed organizations. </li><li>Demonstrated senior presence and ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders in Spanish and English. </li><li>Proactive in identifying and implementing process improvements. </li><li>Comfortable navigating digital finance tools and driving innovation. </li><li>Committed to people development, DE&I, and organizational growth. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <p>Education:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (required). </li><li>Advanced degree (MBA, CPA, CMA, or equivalent) preferred. </li></ul> <p>Experience:</p> <ul> <li>8+ years of progressive finance experience, including shared services and commercial finance. </li><li>3+ years of people management experience. </li><li>Strong knowledge of US GAAP (required) and local (preferred) LATAM accounting standards. </li><li>Experience with SAP, TM1, BRAVO, and other financial systems preferred. </li></ul> <p>Skills:</p> <ul> <li>Strong leadership and stakeholder management with different groups of stakeholders. </li><li>Senior-level communication and presentation skills in English and Spanish. </li><li>Ability to lead through influence and drive cross-functional initiatives. </li><li>Proven ability to identify and implement value-generating process improvements. </li></ul> <p>Travel:</p> <p>Up to 10% (domestic and international within LATAM)</p> <p>Required Skills:</p> <p>Preferred Skills:</p>
