<p>The Middle School Math Guide guides adolescents in developing strong mathematical understanding, critical thinking skills, and confidence as independent learners. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of adolescent development, strong experience with or interest in Montessori philosophy and practices, and a working knowledge of Colorado Academic Standards for Mathematics, with the ability to thoughtfully align standards within a Montessori learning framework.</p> <p>As a Middle School Guide, you will facilitate a prepared learning environment that supports each student's intellectual, emotional, and social development, fosters interdisciplinary connections, and balances Montessori principles with state requirements in a developmentally appropriate way.</p> <p>Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree</p> <p>Expertise in the subject area that you are hired to teach, including demonstrated knowledge of Colorado Academic Standards.</p> <p>Interest in and willingness to learn about the Montessori philosophy and</p> <p>Understanding of adolescent development and education, with an understanding of the emotional, social, and intellectual needs of middle school-aged children.</p> <p>Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to engage with students, parents, and colleagues</p> <p>Salary Range: $22,250-$33,400 for 184 days at .5 FTE (1.0 FTE available)</p> <p>Description of Community: St. Vrain Community Montessori School fosters human thriving by nurturing the whole child in an authentic Montessori program as a public charter school.</p> <p>Start Date: 08/11/2026</p> <p>How To Apply: Email Jennifer Ramsey at jramsey@svcmontessori.org @media</p>
