<p>Position Summary/Objective</p> <p>The Inspector's position will provide oversight ensuring all purchased and manufactured materials meet applicable requirements.</p> <p>Duties and Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Assures that incoming materials both purchased items and raw materials, meet AstroNova, Inc. specifications and requirements. </li><li>Samples first-piece and in-process items </li><li>Measures with precision instruments </li><li>Prepares Certificates of Compliance </li><li>Maintains product and supplier history </li><li>Processes returned goods and materials </li><li>Performs final inspection on completed units. </li><li>Other duties as directed </li></ul> <p>Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions. The employee frequently is required to use hands, hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and /or move up to 40 pounds.
