The Inside Sales Representative sells, quotes, and promotes the building materials program in addition to ensuring prompt and accurate communication with customers on their orders and delivery dates.</p> <p>Compensation and Benefits• Competitive compensation package (base pay & commission)</p> <ul> <li>Career advancement opportunities </li><li>Medical, Vision, Dental Insurance </li><li>Paid time-off (PTO) and company paid holidays </li><li>401(k) Retirement Plan with company match </li></ul> <p>Essential Duties and Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Work with customers to convert inbound inquiries into actual sales. </li><li>Overcome technical and business objections for prospective customers. </li><li>Emphasize salable features, quotes prices, and prepares sales orders for orders obtained. </li><li>Make outbound sales calls based on sales activity plans generated by the Sales Manager or General Manager. </li><li>Develop and maintain customer relationships. </li><li>Estimate date of delivery to customer based on product knowledge, order processing, production and delivery schedules. </li><li>Investigate and resolve customer problems, including warranty service. </li><li>Update customers of any changes to the promised delivery date. </li><li>Enter new customer data and other sales data for current customers into computer database. </li><li>Comply with required company policies and procedures. </li><li>Communicate with buyers on product shortages or quality issues. </li><li>Additional duties may be assigned. </li></ul> <p>Education and Experience</p> <ul> <li>Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year College or technical school; Bachelor's degree preferred </li><li>3-5 years' related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience </li></ul> <p>Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities</p> <ul> <li>Proficient computer skills; experience using Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint (intermediate or advanced). </li><li>Must exhibit customer service skills and the ability to develop relationships over the phone. </li><li>Results driven and ability to generate innovative and creative solutions to problems. </li><li>Ability to develop quick rapport with employees and customers. </li><li>Possesses general business acumen. </li><li>Ability to manage multiple projects. </li></ul>
