<p>Tanner Health is seeking a board certified/board eligible Acute Care General Surgeon to join our hospital employed Carrollton Surgical Group consisting of 7 experienced general surgeons and 4 full-time APPs.</p> <p>Job Duties & Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Join one other acute care surgeon to complete this newly designed service line. </li><li>Will provide coverage to primarily inpatient & emergency department consults at Tanner Medical Center in Carrollton only. </li><li>Tanner Medical Center/Carrollton is equipped with two DV5 robots as well as outstanding nursing & clinical support. </li></ul> <p>Schedule:</p> <ul> <li>7 on/7 off schedule </li><li>In-house scheduled hours Monday - Friday 7a - 5p (evening call covered by general surgery team). </li><li>Weekend call begins Friday 5pm - Monday 7am for inpatient & emergency consults at Tanner Medical Center/Carrollton location only </li></ul> <p>Compensation:</p> <ul> <li>$500K salary plus full benefits package in addition to a starting & signing incentive, relocation, and so much more! </li></ul> <p>The ideal candidate will possess following attributes:</p> <ul> <li>MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine </li><li>Unrestricted Georgia physician license, or able to obtain </li><li>Residency trained in General Surgery </li><li>Board certified or eligible in General Surgery </li><li>Competence to perform a full spectrum of routine general surgery procedures and acute care surgery </li></ul>
