(Typically four years of related, progressive work experience would be needed for candidates applying for this position who do not possess a bachelor's degree.)</p> <p>A minimum of four years of experience in software engineering, platform engineering, or site reliability engineering for level 2 is required.</p> <p>A minimum of five or more years of experience in software engineering, platform engineering, or site reliability engineering for level 3 is required.</p> <p>Experience in one of the following areas:</p> <ul> <li>Internal developer platforms </li><li>Kubernetes-based platforms </li><li>CI/CD platforms and deployment pipelines </li><li>GitOps workflows such as ArgoCD or Flux </li><li>Observability systems including Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry </li><li>Distributed systems and microservices platforms </li><li>Platform security including identity and secrets management </li></ul> <p>Preferred:</p> <ul> <li>Experience building self-service developer platforms </li><li>Experience supporting streaming data platforms or messaging systems </li><li>Experience with SQL, NoSQL, or graph databases </li><li>Experience working in hybrid cloud environments </li><li>Contributions to open-source platform or infrastructure projects </li></ul> <p>The Software Engineer-Platform is responsible for designing, building, and operating the internal developer platform that enables teams to build, deploy, and operate software efficiently and reliably.</p> <p>This role focuses on delivering self-service platform capabilities that standardize how applications are built, deployed, and operated across the organization.
