We are a publicly-traded company, NASDAQ symbol ORGO, with 2024 annual revenue of $480+M.</p> <p>What You Will Achieve:</p> <p>The Vice President of Information Technology will be responsible for developing and executing the Information Technology strategy while continuously assessing progress and driving measurable outcomes. This role will work cross-functionally, developing key partnerships across the organization, achieving results through influence, and driving execution through broad collaboration. The incumbent will manage end-to-end technology solutions for the organization including customer-facing software and architecture, IT infrastructure, business applications and external technology partnerships/spend. The VP will design, communicate and implement the company's technology vision, strategy and roadmap to all stakeholders including the Board, executive team, and internal teams. This position will report to the Chief Financial Officer. Position is a hybrid position located near our Canton, MA headquarters.</p> <p>How You Will Achieve It:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Lead strategy development and deployment for Information Technology (IT) and develop operating rhythms to measure progress.</p> </li><li> <p>Build scalable infrastructure to support expected growth of the company and enable commercial sales and service.</p> </li><li> <p>Partner with Executive Team to develop and prioritize key initiatives across the organization.</p> </li><li> <p>Identify core competencies and skill sets necessary to achieve business objectives; partner with HR to design effective and efficient organizational structure aligned to strategic goals.</p> </li><li> <p>Coach, develop and mentor the IT team to deliver and support robust systems, processes and IT infrastructure on-time and within budget, adapting as needed to changing business environment.</p> </li><li> <p>Identify projects to drive efficiencies utilizing data-driven metrics.</p> </li><li> <p>Identify and recommend new technologies and services that will improve efficiency, processes, and operations; reviews requests for additional services and upgrades, assessing the costs and benefits to the organization.</p> </li><li> <p>Monitor and report progress on development projects, resource utilization, and production performance to executive leadership.</p> </li><li> <p>Analyze and enhance the business intelligence function to uncover value in data, gain actionable insights and improve strategic decision-making process.</p> </li><li> <p>Ensure the integrity and reliability of computerized information systems, communication systems, and office systems including the security of data acquired and stored.</p> </li><li> <p>Facilitate preparation of project plans and proposals, outlining project objectives, requirements, and analytical and programming staffing requirements for proposed systems.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain pace with technological progress, economic change, and company needs by directing continual improvements of staff, equipment, and procedures.</p> </li><li> <p>Prepare, implement, and execute IT budget.</p> </li><li> <p>Responsible for ensuring that internal controls activities are completed in full compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) and biopharma manufacturing/production regulations.</p> </li><li> <p>Provide technical leadership and professional guidance to managers and staff to ensure long term succession and development of IT organization.</p> </li><li> <p>Instill a culture of security by design in all areas of IT.</p> </li></ul> <p>Job Requirements</p> <p>What You Need to Achieve It:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (Masters preferred), or equivalent training and experience. </li><li>15+ years' experience in a IT/software technical role, with at least 10 years of senior-level people leadership. </li><li>Demonstrated experience designing and communicating a vision and strategy and building consensus and followership. </li><li>Knowledgeable in compliance and information security. </li><li>Excellent communication skills w/ ability to clearly articulate the right message to the right audience from the Board and C-suite to individual team members. </li><li>Demonstrated strength in contract negotiations and vendor management. </li><li>Proven ability to resolve issues, mitigate roadblocks, and meet all financial and management goals on time consistently and collaboratively. </li><li>Strong presentation and communication skills - ability to articulate and tell a story to executive leadership. </li><li>Preferred candidates will have 5+ years' experience within a GMP environment in biotech or life sciences industry. </li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills. </li><li>Excellent analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills and with an attention to detail. </li><li>Experience in re-engineering processes, end-to-end process mapping, diagnosing business imperatives and driving change. </li><li>Highly motivated self-starter with excellent time management/prioritization skills. </li><li>Able to forge strong internal relationships across a broad range of functions. </li></ul> <p>Organogenesis is an industry leader known as an innovator of life-saving technologies and as an advocate for accessibility and health equality.
