<p>Dechert LLP is hiring a Talent Team Assistant to provide vital administrative support to the Chief Talent Officer and the general processes of the Talent Operations team. We are looking for a proactive, detail-oriented professional to ensure the seamless operation of our Global Talent organization by managing executive calendars and scheduling, preparing and handling highly confidential materials, and coordinating critical, time-sensitive projects that advance our people strategy. The ideal candidate thrives under pressure, values discretion, and is ready to make a tangible impact at a leading global law firm.</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>Job Functions:</p> <ul> <li>Coordinates all Talent team meetings and maintains agendas. </li><li>Manages CTO calendar, including coordinating and scheduling meetings for the CTO anticipating conflicts and proactively resolving them. </li><li>Assists with Talent Team presentations and updates content. </li><li>Compiles and analyzes data for financial reporting and budgeting purposes. </li><li>Reconciles firm credit card transactions, reviews invoices, and processes with accounts payable. </li><li>Handles all travel and expenses for the CTO, making sure all aligns with the CTO calendar/meeting schedule and processes expenses timely. </li><li>Prepares, disseminates, and compiles data from internal surveys. </li><li>Drafts letters, decks, excel docs, memos, and emails for the CTO. </li><li>Interfaces, communicates, and coordinates with various vendors. </li><li>Answers and filters calls for the CTO. </li><li>Coordinates with the Talent Organization for all new hires and departures of employees to help them get acclimated to the new team. </li><li>Assists the CTO with office and other special events. </li><li>Acts as a liaison between the CTO, firm employees, and other Dechert Departments. </li><li>Assists with the upkeep of all Talent Team web pages. </li><li>Acts as a cultural champion recognizing they represent the CTO. </li><li>Provides assistance for Talent Operations department, including but not limited to shared inbox support, general invoice processing, and project support. </li><li>Performs any and all other duties as necessary for the efficient functioning of the Department, Office, and Firm, and where applicable make independent decisions. </li></ul> <p>Interactions and Challenges:</p> <p>The Talent Team Assistant will be called upon to frequently exercise excellent judgment in the everyday fulfillment of these duties.</p> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>College Degree strongly preferred. </li><li>Knowledge of the Firm's Policies and Procedures. </li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills. </li><li>Excellent interpersonal skills. </li><li>Ability to prioritize and coordinate work. </li><li>Ability to maintain confidential information. </li><li>Ability to manage workflow and delegate projects as necessary. </li><li>Ability to juggle multiple tasks and manage deadlines. </li><li>Ability to think critically and analytically and make independent decisions in a pressured environment. </li><li>Ability to clearly and effectively communicate with varying levels of people within the organization. </li><li>Ability to work productively and cooperatively with other employees. </li><li>Ability to read, understand and analyze financial statements. </li><li>Ability to constantly learn new skills as they become necessary. </li><li>Systems Required: MS Office Suite and all Dechert programs required for position. </li></ul> <p>Additional Job Description</p> <p>At the time of this posting, the salary range for this position in New York is between $52,000.00 - $62,000.00 annually.
