The Division of Med-Peds manages patients from newborns to centenarians.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>The faculty member appointed will be expected to contribute to departmental teaching programs involving medical students and house staff. He/She will participate in preparation/organization of new educational programs as well as participation in university/ college assigned committees. The individual will be expected to effectively utilize his/her clinical practice as a teaching resource. </li><li>The faculty member will be encouraged to participate in ongoing research and in seeking funding for research. Collaborative effort within the Department and the University will be encouraged. </li><li>The faculty member will be responsible for the management of patients primarily in the outpatient setting at the USF Health Med-Peds clinic. Night and weekend call per the general pediatrics schedule. </li><li>Other duties as assigned. </li><li>Responsible to a Chair or other appropriate higher-level administrator of a State university. Responsible for teaching, research, service, and related administrative activities. Responsible for academic advising and related activities.
