With our extensive engineering know-how, complex process expertise, scalable platforms, and lifelong support we are driving lasting success for your business.</p> <p>Your main tasks</p> <p>The Electrical Engineer is responsible for the electrical design of custom automation solutions for assembly and testing of complex products.</p> <p>Essential Duties & Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Design electrical systems in accordance with local and international standards, industry best practices, customer requirements, and Mikron standards. </li><li>Electrical hardware selection and sizing. </li><li>Generate, review, and maintain electrical schematics and electrical Bills of Materials (BOMs) for automated assembly systems. </li><li>Coordinate and assist in certifications and inspections of electrical systems (UL, CE, CSA, etc.) </li><li>Materials release and tracking throughout the project lifecycle. </li><li>Prepare electrical assembly packages for Electrical Technicians (ET). </li><li>Support Electrical Technicians (ET) with wiring, troubleshooting and electrical checks. </li><li>Responsible for on-time completion of electrical design milestones to project schedule. </li><li>Establish and maintain standards, best practices, and work instructions. Coordinate with other Mikron locations to ensure consistent quality. </li><li>Any other duties that have been described in detail as assigned by management or supervision within Mikron Corporation Denver. </li><li>Assist Engineering Team Lead (ETL) with resource planning. </li><li>Delegate tasks to Electrical Designers (ELDE). </li></ul> <p>Required Education, Experience, Knowledge & Skills</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent) from an accredited college or university. </li><li>3-5 years of applicable experience in an industrial setting (preferred) </li><li>Advanced experience with AutoCAD Electrical and/or Eplan. </li><li>Advanced knowledge of electrical hardware such as circuit breakers, VFDs, IO cards, transformers, etc. Ability to select and size properly electrical components. </li><li>Advanced safety experience (Initial design and upgrades). </li><li>Advanced knowledge of NEC, NFPA 79, UL508A, CE and CSA.
