No VP Area President Department 00450 - Commuter Services - Operations Location Campus City Salt Lake City, UT Type of Recruitment External Posting Pay Rate Range $14.00 - $16.00/h DOE Close Date 07/23/2025 Priority Review Date (Note - Posting may close at any time) Job Summary</p> <p>Paints interiors and exteriors of buildings and structures.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ol> <li> <p>Applies paint to building interiors and exteriors, and other wood, metal, and plaster surfaces, by using brushes, spray guns, rollers, and related painting equipment.</p> </li><li> <p>Refinishes furniture and office equipment such as cabinets, counters, tables, and desks using stain, filler, sealer, varnish, shellac, and paint.</p> </li><li> <p>Washes, scrapes, sands, putties, seals, spackles, primes, and undercoats surfaces before painting or refinishing.</p> </li><li> <p>Blends, mixes, and matches paints and stains by adding pigments and/or thinners to obtain desired color and consistency.</p> </li><li> <p>Applies a variety of skills in erecting, rigging, and using scaffolding, ladders, trestles, planks, window jacks and stages.</p> </li><li> <p>Performs variety of tasks by decorating and stenciling interior rooms, installing and replacing window glass and mirrors, removing old finishes from woodwork and floors, hanging wallpaper and vinyl, and other related tasks.</p> </li><li> <p>This position requires close supervision.</p> </li></ol> <p>This job description has been designed to indicate the general nature and level of work performed by employees within this classification.
