Our expertise and experience tailor all the resources we have accumulated to deliver the localized solutions that create the places where communities come together, celebrate, and thrive</p> <p>We are looking to fill our part-time Electrician opening, which is located at Target Center in Minneapolis, MN, home of the MN Timberwolves and MN Lynx.</p> <p>Job Summary</p> <p>The part-time electrician will provide coverage for all electrical service needs for the building, including event coverage and maintenance assistance.</p> <p>Essential Duties</p> <p>Other duties may be assigned.</p> <ul> <li>Perform routine electrical maintenance and inspections throughout the arena. </li><li>Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, equipment, and fixtures. </li><li>Support event setups, including primary and auxiliary temporary power </li><li>Set up and take down of basketball scoring equipment </li><li>Setup and take down house spotlights </li><li>Collaborate with other maintenance staff to respond to urgent facility issues. </li><li>Assist in energy efficiency initiatives and system upgrades as directed. </li></ul> <p>Supervisor Responsibility</p> <ul> <li>This position has no supervisory responsibility </li></ul> <p>Required Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Current Maintenance Electrician, Journeyman Electrician, or Master Electrician State of MN License </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Ability to navigate a variety of floor surfaces and areas </li><li>Ability to crawl, stoop, and kneel per the job requirements </li><li>Ability to work in a variety of environments, including but not limited to heights, elevators, darkened arena, around crowds, loud noises, and flashing lights </li><li>Continuous standing and walking, including up and down stairs </li><li>Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs regularly </li></ul> <p>Note</p> <p>The essential responsibilities of this position are described under the headings above.
