<p>Substitute Corridor Aide/Safe School JobID: 4327</p> <p>Position Type:</p> <p>Substitute/SUBSTITUTE Corridor Aide</p> <p>Date Posted:</p> <p>2/6/2025</p> <p>Location:</p> <p>District</p> <p>&nbsp&nbspAdditional Information: Show/Hide</p> <p>Substitute Corridor Aide 2024/2025 School Year</p> <p>QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <ul> <li>High School Graduate </li><li>Demonstrated aptitude for meeting job goals </li><li>Experience working with adolescent children </li><li>Excellent interpersonal skills </li><li>Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Superintendent of Schools may find acceptable and appropriate. </li></ul> <p>REPORTS TO: Academy Administrator or their designee</p> <p>ESSENTIAL FUNCTION:</p> <p>This person is responsible for the security and protection of students, staff, and property and must be able to walk around the building and go up and down stairs.</p> <p>EVALUATION: Evaluated in writing by the Academy Administrator</p> <p>PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <ol> <li> <p>Patrols school buildings, corridors, lavatories and grounds to assist in the prevention of student disruptions, fire, theft, vandalism, and illegal entry.</p> </li><li> <p>Conducts inspections of doors, windows and gates to determine that they are secure.</p> </li><li> <p>Meets unauthorized persons and escorts them to the main office.</p> </li><li> <p>Reports any unusual conditions regarding student behavior, movement through halls or building problems.</p> </li><li> <p>Monitors school grounds and parking lots</p> </li><li> <p>Establishes and maintains rapport with administration, staff and students.</p> </li><li> <p>Encourages students to participate in the educational program to improve behavior in a positive manner.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintains high levels of confidentiality with regard to all student disciplinary outcomes.</p> </li><li> <p>Performs bus or dismissal duties as assigned.</p> </li></ol> <p>10.Performs other duties that are assigned by the immediate supervisor, the Superintendent of Schools or his designee.</p>
