In this role, you will promote team morale, encouraging everyone to work together to create a cohesive, efficient and high-quality environment. Acting as a leader, you will mentor and train team members as needed to facilitate their growth. This position offers a great avenue to stretch and hone your laboratory and management skills.</p> <p>A caregiver in this position works days from 8:00AM - 5:00PM.</p> <p>A caregiver who excels in this role will:</p> <ul> <li>Oversee the Pre-Analytic laboratory or Call Center operations for one or multiple sites. </li><li>Handle all employment related activities, budgets, fiscal performance and adherence to quality and safety guidelines. </li><li>Supervise and develop a high performing, customer-oriented team. </li><li>Provide leadership and support staff to perform quality work. </li><li>Review and ensure the timeliness, accuracy and quality of work. </li><li>Ensure proper staffing levels, workflow and efficient utilization of resources. </li><li>Conduct competency assessments and performance appraisals and maintain appropriate documentation. </li><li>Review/approve department schedules, paid time off and leave requests. </li><li>Coordinate hiring, orientation, scheduling and staff development including continuing education initiatives. </li><li>Assist with policy and procedure development and ensure compliance. </li><li>Identifies and implements opportunities to improve procedures, processes, speed, quality and effectiveness. </li><li>Assist with annual operating and capital budgets. </li><li>Communicate critical issues to senior management and/or Medical Director </li><li>Lead and implement large process improvement projects. </li></ul> <p>Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree, two years of supervisory or leadership experience OR High School Diploma/GED and six years of experience OR Associate's Degree and four years of experience </li><li>Four years of relevant experience </li></ul> <p>Our caregivers continue to create the best outcomes for our patients across each of our facilities.
