At BridgeBio, we value curiosity and experimentation-including the ethical & thoughtful use of AI to improve clarity, speed, and quality of work.</p> <p>What You'll Do</p> <p>The Associate Director, IT Business Systems - Medical Affairs will serve as the technical owner and product lead for the full portfolio of Medical Affairs business systems at BridgeBio. You will own day-to-day configuration, administration, integration, and roadmap delivery across platforms spanning CRM, grants, publications, insights, medical information, and web - ensuring they are reliable, compliant, and tightly aligned to the needs of all our affiliate Medical Affairs teams. The ideal candidate is a hands-on technologist who thrives at the intersection of system administration, data, and process optimization, and who can translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions while serving as a trusted technology partner to Medical Affairs stakeholders at all levels in a regulated biopharma environment.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Develop and own the Medical Affairs IT roadmap, ensuring alignment with IT, Medical Affairs, and Commercial strategies </li><li>Serve as the system owner for core Medical Affairs platforms including Veeva Medical CRM, Medical Information, Grants, Publications, and Insights Management </li><li>Manage vendor relationships, release schedules, and system lifecycle activities </li><li>Define and implement Medical Affairs data governance and analytics frameworks, ensuring compliance with privacy, GxP, and data protection standards </li><li>Partner with Medical Affairs and IT teams to deliver dashboards and insights that support evidence generation and field medical effectiveness </li><li>Identify, manage, deliver AI and automation opportunities to enhance literature summarization, insight capture, and operational workflows for medical affairs teams </li><li>Lead digital adoption, user training, and change management to help Medical Affairs teams effectively use new tools and capabilities </li></ul> <p>Systems You Will Own</p> <ul> <li>Veeva Medical CRM - primary system of record for field medical engagement; configure, maintain, and optimize for MSL activity tracking, account planning, and HCP interaction capture across affiliates. </li><li>CyberGrants - end-to-end grants management platform; own configuration, workflow setup, compliance controls, and reporting for Research, medical education grants, and Sponsorship. </li><li>iEnvision - publications planning and management; administer author workflows, congress tracking, disclosure management, and integration with content repositories. </li><li>Veeva Link Medical Insights (MI Platform) - configure and maintain the medical insights capture and aggregation platform; build data pipelines to surface actionable field insights for Medical Affairs leadership. </li><li>Medical Information & Case Management Integration - own the systems integration layer between Medical Information platforms and case/inquiry management tools, ensuring compliant, end-to-end inquiry handling. </li><li>Medical Affairs Website & Digital Presence - manage the technical infrastructure, content management systems, and governance for Medical Affairs-facing web properties. </li></ul> <p>Where You'll Work</p> <p>This is a hybrid role based in BridgeBio's San Francisco office, with an in-office collaboration cadence of 3 days per week. This is a compelling opportunity to join a high-impact, dynamic team as an individual contributor, shaping the IT roadmap and business strategy that help accelerate life-changing treatments for patients.</p> <ul> <li>Serve as the primary IT point of contact for Medical Affairs stakeholders - developing trusted relationships and maintaining a deep understanding of Medical Affairs strategy, therapeutic priorities, and affiliate systems and data needs. </li><li>Act as the hands-on technical owner (admin, configurator, integrator) for all Medical Affairs business systems - managing releases, enhancements, user provisioning, and system health. </li><li>Define and execute the Medical Affairs IT systems roadmap in collaboration with Medical Affairs leadership, aligning platform capabilities to field medical strategy and affiliate priorities. </li><li>Design and maintain integrations between Medical Affairs platforms and enterprise systems (Veeva Vault, Data Warehouse, Master Data Management, Case management), ensuring data consistency and audit-readiness. </li><li>Build and own Medical Affairs data governance frameworks, data dictionaries, and reporting layers; deliver dashboards and KPI views via Power BI or equivalent BI tooling. </li><li>Manage vendor relationships, contracts, SLA governance, and release schedules for all Medical Affairs platform vendors. </li><li>Identify and deliver AI and automation use cases - including literature summarization pipelines, insight auto-tagging, and operational workflow automation - in partnership with Medical Affairs teams. </li><li>Drive digital adoption through user training, enablement programs, and change management for new capabilities and platform upgrades. </li></ul> <p>Who You Are</p> <ul> <li>8+ years of IT experience in the biopharma industry with direct, hands-on administration of Medical Affairs business systems in production environments. </li><li>Deep platform expertise across two or more of: Veeva Medical CRM, CyberGrants, iEnvision, Veeva Link Medical Insights, or comparable Medical Affairs technologies. </li><li>Strong systems integration and data skills - experience connecting Medical Affairs platforms via APIs, ETL pipelines, or middleware; familiarity with Databricks, Workato, or equivalent tools. </li><li>Proficient in BI tools (Power BI preferred) and able to independently build reporting layers and dashboards that surface Medical Affairs performance metrics. </li><li>Working knowledge of GxP, privacy regulations (HIPAA, GDPR), and compliance requirements relevant to Medical Affairs systems and data. </li><li>Practical experience with AI/ML use cases such as NLP-based insight capture, document summarization, or workflow automation in a regulated biopharma context. </li><li>Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Life Sciences, or a related field; advanced degree (MBA, MS, or MPH) preferred. </li><li>Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills - able to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical Medical Affairs stakeholders and hold vendors accountable to delivery commitments. </li></ul> <p>Rewarding Those Who Make the Mission Possible</p> <p>We have high expectations for our team members. Below is the anticipated salary range for candidates for this role who will work in California. The final salary offered to a successful candidate will depend on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and length of experience within the job, type, and length of experience within the industry, educational background, location of residence and performance during the interview process.
