<p>Sugar Bowl Resort is seeking a Rentals Supervisor to lead daily operations of the Rental Shop with a strong focus on guest service, team development, and operational efficiency. Situated atop beautiful Donner Summit, Sugar Bowl has a storied past with ties to Austrian ski culture, Hollywood and Walt Disney. Since then, it continues to attract adventurous winter sports enthusiasts a like.</p> <p>Who you are</p> <ul> <li>At least 1 season of rental shop experience </li><li>Familiarity with RTP POS and Tech modules (or similar rental systems) </li><li>Excellent organizational and communication skills </li><li>Strong interpersonal skills and a proactive leadership style </li><li>Ability to handle guest concerns professionally and effectively </li><li>Detail-oriented with a commitment to safety and cleanliness </li><li>Supervisory or lead experience preferred </li></ul> <p>What you will do</p> <ul> <li>Oversee daily rental shop operations and ensure a smooth and welcoming experience for guests </li><li>Supervise, train, and support team members to maintain high levels of performance and professionalism </li><li>Address guest questions, complaints, and escalated issues, ensuring timely and thoughtful resolutions </li><li>Monitor staff timekeeping and scheduling in accordance with company policy </li><li>Maintain shop cleanliness and organization; ensure all equipment is in proper working condition and stored correctly </li><li>Track and maintain rental inventory to meet demand and uphold industry standards </li><li>Maintains binding calibration on all rental skis </li><li>Helps oversee and maintain repairs of rental equipment </li><li>Ensure all team members follow company safety policies and procedures </li><li>Collaborate with Hotel and Village Services teams to coordinate rental needs for homeowners and hotel guests </li><li>Work closely with the Group Sales department to anticipate and prepare for group rental needs and special events </li><li>Stay informed of company practices, departmental protocols, and applicable labor laws </li><li>Operate independently and take initiative in the absence of the Rental Manager </li><li>Support interdepartmental communication and contribute to a cohesive guest services experience </li><li>Perform occasional snow removal and other physical tasks as needed </li></ul> <p>Winter Benefits</p> <ul> <li>Employer sponsored 401k plan after 1000hrs (and 1-yr) </li><li>Excellent professional and training development </li><li>Free ski and tubing passes for employees </li><li>Free ski passes for dependents </li><li>50% off food at our cafeterias </li><li>Free group ski and snowboard lessons for employees </li><li>Employee discounted lift tickets for family and friends </li><li>Lift ticket discounts at tons of resorts including 24 destinations thanks to the Mountain Collective </li><li>Hotel discounts </li><li>Employee ski reciprocal programs </li></ul> <p>Sugar Bowl Resort believes that all persons are entitled to equal employment opportunity and does not discriminate against its employees or applicants because of race, color, hair, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender orientation, gender expression, pregnancy, marital status, national origin, citizenship, veteran status, ancestry, age, physical or mental disability, medical condition, or any other status protected by federal, state or local law, ordinance or regulation.
