In return for hard work and dedication, our goal is to provide a safe, productive, and enjoyable workplace for every employee.</p> <p>Job Title: Material Handler</p> <p>FLSA Status: Non-exempt</p> <p>Job Purpose: supports the production staff by ensuring efficient / accurate delivery of materials throughout the facility</p> <p>Job Duties:</p> <ul> <li>Execute Oracle-directed material picks and confirm completion through handheld scanners </li><li>Ensure accurate sub-inventory and locator movement, sustaining real-time material visibility </li><li>Move raw materials, MIP, and consumables to the production floor per pick lists and BOM demand </li><li>Conduct rapid response replenishment when shortages are identified </li><li>Maintain material flow paths, staging organization, and FIFO standards </li><li>Report material discrepancies, damaged goods, or mis-located inventory immediately </li><li>Support cycle counting and root-cause investigation for inventory variances </li><li>Place and verify MIP tags, barcode accuracy, and locator labeling compliance </li><li>Collaborate with Purchasing, Inventory, and Production to prevent downtime </li><li>Follow established safety, forklift, and PPE requirements at all times </li><li>Ensure that all work is performed in compliance with safety regulations and report any issues to management </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or GED </li><li>Vocational Training or Apprenticeship helpful </li><li>Excellent Attendance & reliability </li><li>Understanding of ERP inventory flow (Oracle preferred) </li><li>Strong accuracy in scanning and transaction confirmation </li><li>Knowledge of locating systems, material zones, and pick logic </li><li>Problem-solving abilities related to shortages and data errors </li><li>Effective communication across cross-functional teams </li><li>Proficient with Time Management skills, scheduling & organizational skills </li><li>Strong problem solving, attention to detail and communication skills needed </li><li>Must be flexible and adapt to changes in responsibilities & environment </li><li>OSHA safety training a plus but not required </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Ability to lift up to 50 lbs </li><li>Frequent bending, walking, pushing carts, and equipment operation </li><li>Ability to operate pallet jacks or forklifts (certified) </li></ul> <p>ACHIEVE YOUR DREAMS WITH US AND APPLY NOW!</p> <p>EEO Statement</p> <p>Champion Home Builders is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
