Dismantles, adjusts, repairs and assembles equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, operating or repair manuals, rough sketches or drawings. Uses test and diagnostic equipment to perform checkouts. Rebuilds manufacturing equipment as required. May perform equipment modifications as directed by manufacturing engineers.</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>OTHER SPECIFIC FUNCTIONS OR DUTIES</p> <ul> <li>Adheres to all safety requirements. </li><li>Write and maintain accurate production documentation instructions. </li><li>Maintains a clean work area. </li><li>May perform preventative maintenance and assists in trouble shooting and preparing standard production equipment for maintenance. </li><li>Assures that production schedules are maintained and followed. </li><li>May facilitate team meetings. </li><li>May assist in setting up work schedules. </li></ul> <p>SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING AND CERTIFICATIONS</p> <p>Required Certifications and Training</p> <ul> <li>Obtains and completes LMS training plan specific to assigned responsibility. </li></ul> <p>Experience Level with Business Tools</p> <ul> <li>Proficient in utilizing business tools such as: E-mail, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. </li><li>Experience with SAP or equivalent ERP product and productivity software desired. </li></ul> <p>LEVEL DESCRIPTION</p> <p>Skill</p> <ul> <li>As a highly skilled specialist, contributes to the development of concepts and techniques. Often acts as facilitator and team leader. </li></ul> <p>Education and Experience</p> <ul> <li>Associate Degree or equivalent experience </li><li>6+ years of related experience </li></ul> <p>ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS</p> <p>Employee must be able to meet the following requirements with or without an accommodation.</p> <ul> <li>Heavy work that will Frequently 34-66%, require employee to lift/move up to 25 lbs. and occasionally 1-33% lift more than 25 lbs. to greater than 50 lbs. </li><li>Lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, or moving heavy equipment and/or supplies occasionally 1-33%. </li><li>Reaching above and below the shoulder Frequently 34-66%. </li><li>Above-average agility and dexterity with the ability to hold, grasp and manipulate small parts and use hand and power tools constantly 67-100% </li><li>Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and handle physical exertion, such as long periods of standing, walking, bending, crouching, stretching, reaching, repetitive motion, or similar activities. </li><li>Work environments includes exposure to chemicals, electrical current, proximity to moving mechanical parts, repetitive hand motion, open flame, working from heights, cold environment, hot environment, uneven surface, fumes. </li><li>Travel to may be required less than 10%.
